We're celebrating Roberto Bolle again at the Natural City Man blog. The technical brilliance of his performance last night at the Met Opera in New York City in the American Ballet Theatre's production of Frederick Ashton's Sylvia was nothing sort of breath-taking and quite simply put : Roberto Bolle is the most handsome male ballet star that ever graced the stage!
Roberto's partner for the evening was Russian ballerina Polina Semionova, who danced the part of Sylvia and handled the fiendishly difficult Ashton choreography effortlessly. I have never seen a better Sylvia.
Someone from the audience threw Roberto what appears to be a "Love" pillow. I'm not sure if Roberto knew what the pillow was meant for but he handled the moment with his usual good humor.
The video above contains the complete curtain calls from last night's performance. All of the photos and video in this feature were shot by me last evening. Feel free to download them, tweet them and enjoy them.
